Yesterday Modesto News .org brought you a story of a Marine Corp Reservist standing guard in front of Hughson Elementary School in Hughson, California. The man standing guard was in an United States Marine Corps Uniform and called himself Sergeant. His story of serving 3 tours in battle, being injured in battle, and being currently enlisted as a Reserve how now been proven to be false. He is now claiming that it is the media that got the story wrong and that he never actually made those claims. In this video Modesto News .org shows his lies on film so that you can decide. Here is an article by the Marine Corps Times today on this story: A Marine veteran who made national news for standing guard outside a California school in uniform was accused Thursday of faking his military service, but denied he did so. Craig Pusley appeared outside Hughson Elementary School in Modesto, Calif., on Wednesday in a desert camouflage uniform to help children feel safe following the massacre of 20 children and six adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., he said. He added that he was inspired in part by another Marine veteran, Staff Sgt. Jordan Pritchard, who made headlines for similar actions at Gower Elementary School in Nashville, Tenn. Media coverage of Pusley's actions reported that he is 28 years old and got out of the Corps as a sergeant after deploying twice to Iraq and once to Afghanistan. In reality, Pusley graduated from boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, but was in the service less than a year and never made it past private first class, Marine officials said. He never deployed or made it through military occupational specialty school, leaving the Corps designated a "basic Marine," MOS 8000. Pusley told Marine Corps Times in a phone interview he never lied about his military service, blaming the first reporter who interviewed him, Nan Austin of The Modesto Bee, for getting the story wrong. "There's a lot of fabrication to this story that didn't come out of my mouth," Pusley said. "All I know is that I talked to a Modesto Bee lady, and everything went crazy." Photographs show him wearing the rank insignia of a sergeant, however. Asked about that, he said he didn't realize what was on the uniform and borrowed it from someone else. He added his old name tapes to the borrowed blouse, he said. "I feel horrible about this," he said. "My intention was for the kids. I don't understand why everyone has to find a negative in every situation." Pusley didn't have an explanation why Austin would have reported that he went to Iraq and Afghanistan, or why it was repeated in subsequent news coverage. However, he said he is "deeply sorry" if standing in front of the school in uniform if it offended anyone, and has written an email to the White House apologizing. He wasn't anticipating a blast of negativity after appearing at the school, he said. "I cannot emphasize enough how sorry I am that all of this has happened," he said. "These were not my intentions. This was never supposed to happen." Austin could not immediately be reached for comment, but The Modesto Bee's editor, Joe Kieta, said the newspaper stands by her work. On Thursday, Pusley appeared in front of the school in Modesto again, this time out of uniform, after it was reported that Marine officials told Pritchard he was not authorized to wear the uniform in front of the school. Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Mike Barrett, the top enlisted Marine, released a statement that he understands Marines' desires to protect children, but Marines should not be wearing the uniform outside of rules and regulations. 5 Megalodon Caught on Tape & Spotted In Real Life! Description: The Megalodon is a prehistoric creature resembling a shark, but much bigger and more vicious. Megalodon or “big tooth is a species of 20-yards-long sharks that lived between 23 and 2.6 million years ago. Its teeth were 7 inches long and could tear through meat like butter. This massive monster is considered to be the most powerful predator in history. But some say that specimens of the terrifying fish still live in our waters today. Here are 5 Megalodons caught on camera & spotted in real life part two. #5 Cape Town Megalodon Attack https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1A8LB4KXGkg On a charter fishing boat, off the coast of Cape Town, South Africa, four friends decide to take a fishing trip. One of the girls on the ship says they are off to catch the biggest fish they can find, but it seems like maybe the biggest fish found them. The boat suffers an enormous blow, the camera falls to the floor and you can hear the friend’s voices screaming. Later, news reports claimed that the bodies of the four people could not be found. Investigators also found the boat either bitten or torn in half. #4 Not Quite Biting Today...Wait, Yes They Are https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-KIZtSGh9o Imagine sitting on a boat, enjoying a beer and fishing when you see a much bigger fish than you bargained on. The man in this video captures two fins approaching his boat. His fright escalates when see how far apart the dorsal fin and the upper lobe are from one another.. The fisherman finally panics, but captures a terrific up-close image of the gigantic monster of the deep. If the video isn't a forgery, there is no question that the size of the fish makes it a real-life present-day Megalodon. #3 Kayak Catastrophe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcFcy6v4yeo Almost any shark can be terrifying. But 42 footer right in front of your kayak? This incident happened to one unlucky kayak enthusiast on his day off. As the giant black shark approaches the hobbyist, you can see the man trying to paddle away from certain death. Compared to this brutal doom, they actually had it easy in the movie Deliverance. #2 Megalodon Attacks A Whale https://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_3715886429&feature=iv&src_vid=i77ZXdhe148&v=n-H8pgyqdIg The whale is the biggest creature to roam in the depths of the ocean. A whale's surface splash is a tremendous visual. But this time, the whale's breathing is interrupted by a Megalodon, and what happens next has been called a clash of the titans. But what happens when this event is ruined by a battle of the titans. A whale fighting a Megalodon. Unfortunately, we don't have a happy ending to report - the Megalodon makes a meal out of a chunk of the whale's tail, wounding the beautiful giant. #1 Chile Today, Shark Tomorrow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWyGsjWHHEA Governments have often placed underwater cameras on the sea floor to monitor the behavior of marine life. The cameras have spotted some astounding things over the years, and private-sector investigators have followed suit with aquatic cameras of their own. One young man from Chile who placed a camera in the Pacific Ocean captured the image of an unusually large fish and immediately reported it to authorities. By synchronizing frames of video and doing some calculations, marine biologists determined the size of the animal...an astonishing 62 feet. Being skeptical, they re- calculated their results and got the same amazing result. This could be real life evidence that the Megalodon exists! 5 Unexplained & Mysterious Deep Sea Creatures Caught On Camera 2016 Transcript: There is no doubt our oceans contain many mysteries and creatures that go beyond our imagination. Really. Just imagine how many deep sea creatures we havent found that would simply blow our mind if we ever caught them on camera... But today you are lucky because here are 5 Unexplained & Mysterious Deep Sea Creatures Caught On Camera! Prepare because here.... we begin... 1. The Corfu Island Creature A Scottish tourist named Harvey Robertson had the shock of his life as he found the image of a mysterious creature in his vacation’s pictures. Harvey was on a cruise with his family in Corfu when he took a series of photographs from the inside of a cave. But what he didnt notice was the monster he captured in a cave around the island of Corfu that has a snout and unusual eyes with very uncommon characteristics. Up to this day, biologists are still examining this mysterious sea creature but havent found one clue to what it can be. Although people are starting to think that this could be an animal from the Greek mythology. Interesting..... 2. Giant Pyrosome Divers in Australia have captured rare images of the Pyrostremma , or pyrosome sea creature off the coast of Tasmania. It is so rare that it has been dubbed as the 'Unicorn of the Sea' and can grow up to 30 metres long - the equivalent of two double-decker buses laid end-to-end. Its hollow, translucent, cylindrical body is made up of thousands of tiny clones called zooids that pull water through its tubes and feed on plankton before pushing the filtered water back out. (Say this while video is also playing) 3. The Flying Spaghetti Monster This unusual marine animal you are about to see was recently caught on camera near the coast of Angola.A team from BP was carrying out routine operations near an oil well, using a remotely operated underwater vehicle at a depth of 1325 metres, when they spotted the creature, which they nicknamed the flying spaghetti monster. Intrigued, they sent footage of it to Daniel Jones from the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton, UK. Here is the footage of the mysterious deep sea creature. 4. The Mysterious Jellyfish The video you are about to see shows a very strange deep sea creature that was unexpectedly floating into view on an oil ridge camera. The mysterious sea creature was spotted 5 thousand feet deep in the gulf of New Mexico 2 years ago but was just identified by a marine biologist. After so much research, The biologist then found out that this strange creature you are about to see is actually a giant deep sea jellyfish.Take a look at the footage... 5. The Mysterious Giant Squid Squids are not known to spend time at the surface and usually live deep underwater which are most commonly being discovered when they die and wash up on the beaches. In the video you are about to see, a the massive squid comes close to the submerged camera as a crowd of spectators marvel in complete awe. Could the legendary Giant squid squid actually exist? Who knows, but here is the footage. BG Music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b73t9SLss8k VIDEO LINKS: 1. The Corfu Island Creature 2. Giant Pyrosome: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EQGA_4BZ5s 3. MBARI scientists and engineers have developed a simple, open source camera system called SeeStar to monitor underwater habitats at depths and for time periods that no scuba diver could hope to match. The SeeStar system is meant for autonomous mid-to-long term monitoring of marine ecosystems, and can take still images or video for up to several months, at depths up to 300 meters below the sea’s surface. Future goals for this project include making it affordable for individual production and making parts easier to order online. Even though it is still in development, SeeStar is already letting marine researchers see things underwater that they’ve never seen before. It’s also helping MBARI in its continuing efforts to share its high-tech tools with the rest of the world. Siqura announces two all-new, full-HD marine dome cameras: the Xtreme HSD870H3-MDC and the ExPLORE HSD870H3EXP-MDC. These cameras give crisp, clear image quality and unparalleled video surveillance in harsh offshore and onshore environments. Extreme marine proof Siqura’s advanced video surveillance solutions now include two robust PTZ dome cameras for harsh marine environments. The Xtreme HSD870H3-MDC is designed to withstand shocks of up to 10 g, not uncommon in the off-shore industry. On top of that the ExPLORE HSD870H3EXP-MDC is also flame resistant, for use in hazardous areas like Zone 1, for example. These cameras give operators real-time overviews of mission-critical operations, even in the most extreme conditions. More information: www.siqura.com/marine-dome

The M1-D Marine is our latest thermal pan tilt zoom camera system designed for marine environments. The M1-D features high resolution FLIR imaging performance in the smallest, lightest marine grade PTZ platform. The M1-D has features you wont find on even the most expensive PTZ cameras. The M1-D includes a thermal infrared FLIR sensor, a visible light video camera sensor and a laser pointer in one 4.5" gimbal design that weighs in at about 2 lbs. The above video is from Lake Mohave on the Arizona Nevada border. These are some highlighted images from our day of testing. The test was performed in August of 2012. This is a desert lake and the temperature was around 120 degrees! This is the absolute worst conditions for thermal imaging possible. We wanted to really test the system under the most demanding situations to give you an idea of how the system will perform in the real world and not some staged photo shoot. The M1-D performed without a hitch. This is one serious marine ptz thermal camera system. We launched from Willow beach in Nevada and first headed up stream to the Hoover Damn. This is on the other side of the dam from Lake Mead. For safety issues you cannot go up to the dam itself but you can get close enough to see the new bridge. The water is ice cold up here having just come from the bottom of Lake Mead. We then headed down toward Cotton Wood Cove with the thermal PTZ in full force the whole way. We spotted some boaters having a good time in the middle of the lake. We spotted some folks cliff diving at Nelsons Landing on Lake Mohave. We got some great thermal video of the someone doing a flip off the cliff at lake mohave with the thermal PTZ. The video will only get better with better conditions. This is the absolute worst conditions for thermal imaging so keep that in mind. For more information on the M1-D marine thermal ptz system call SPI CORP 702-369-3966 or visit www.x20.org
